1. The surgery date
You have scheduled a surgery appointment with your attending physician at the Wörgl Private Hospital. If your physician recommends any tests, we ask you to have them performed.
Please read your anesthesia information sheet carefully. Further information, including educational videos, can be found at www.oegari.at in the Patient Forum section. We advise day-care patients to arrange for 24-hour care and not to drive.
2. Getting ready for surgery
An anesthesia consultation is required before your surgery. Several anesthesiologists work in our hospital as attending physicians. If you wish, one of these anesthesiologists can supervise you. Your anesthesiologist will call you a few days before your surgery appointment to clarify any questions. If you have further questions, you can contact our anesthesia consultation hours Monday to Friday between 9 and 11 a.m., either by phone (+43 5332 74 5 72-43) or in person. If your anesthesiologist requires additional preliminary examinations, we ask that you arrange for them to be performed as soon as possible and bring them with you upon admission.
3. The day of your surgery
On the day of surgery, you must fast. Therefore, do not eat anything after midnight and only eat light meals beforehand.
